The Sun City Athletic Trainers’ Association is a professional association for licensed athletic trainers and others who support the athletic training profession. Founded in 1972 by Manny Pacillas, Morrison Clay and Toni Van dePutte, SCATA has grown to over 40 members. SCATA members serve in the Greater El Paso area at collegiate, high school and middle school levels as well as the private sector. The licensed athletic trainers choose to be members of SCATA to support their profession and to receive a broad array of membership benefits. By joining forces as a group, SCATA members can accomplish more for the athletic training profession in the Greater El Paso Area than they can individually.
